Thomas Merideth is an aspiring filmmaker. He is currently a freshman at Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, Tennessee.
Ever since he was young, Thomas has loved cinema. Everything about it has inspired him and sparked his creativity. He began creating short, silly films with his sister and his friends. As he grew he developed a YouTube channel where he uploaded his weird little creations.
His first series, Gerald, about an evil toilet paper roll, became iconic amongst his friends and family and he had so much fun with the character that he continued to make films. Over the summers of 2018, 2019, and 2020 Thomas helped out at a local film camp where he made short documentaries accounting the shorts that the aspired campers created. He loved filming and editing them so much, along with taking A/V classes at his high school.
Thomas continued to create projects for school, edit music videos and fun shorts with friends and family, and watch as many films as he possibly could. His love for the art grew more and more and his creativity ran wild as he shot out and wrote many ideas, scripts, characters, dreams and music-inspired clips.
Near the end of high school, Thomas fizzled out a bit on his filmmaking and editing. He went through lots of personal crises and was figuring out what to do with his life. His love and passion for film never died, but his perseverance and creativity weakened. But now, as he begins a new journey as a freshman in college, his love for creating films has come back to him stronger than ever, and he's destined to start making bigger and better films!
